Although not often, packages can get delayed during transit for reasons out of my control. If it is a 24-hour delay then there is no major need to worry as the box is prepared for a small delay, however if is sitting in the facility over a weekend, if FedEx causes a delay which then puts the package sitting during a holiday or an act of God occurs, then we have a problem. If you find yourself in this unfortunate situation, please email your name, order number and tracking number to primitivechoice@gmail.com and please put the subject line as “my order is delayed”. I will then be able to contact FedEx and then get back with you an update regarding the situation.
First though, check that your address is 100% correct when you plug in your tracking number. This address gets pulled directly from my website when an order is place, as nothing is entered manually, so the address should match up correctly. If by chance you have made a mistake when entering your address and this is why your package is delayed, then immediately contact your local FedEx regarding changing your shipping address. This is something only the customer can do, and not the shipper once the package has shipped.
Unfortunately, since a delay of package is on FedExs end, I can not reimburse anything to you. However, each package is insured for $100 against lost or damaged items, and that is something you have the opportunity to speak to FedEx about.
